I've been in a sorta similar workplace environment. Your idea gets shot down at one meeting. A month later, someone else brings up the same idea, and "Gee, what a great idea!" It was great relief getting the hell outta there.

@mikejohnson3338 Actually, studies show that mental illness is much greater amongst liberals. That's why they want government to fix everything by force. No faith in themselves or their fellow man. Why that creates such an inordinate faith in politicians to fix things, I'll never know, because politicians, by and large, are the last people you want to fix ANYthing.

@onefortheroad6186 Liberals have run against the establishment while BEING the establishment for generations. The hypocrisy is thick enough to cut with a knife. "Those evil billionaires (who finance my campaigns)..." The current times remind me of the 1960s, only the roles are reversed, and the liberal elites are MUCH more oppressive than the "right-wingers" they satirized in the '60s. Now they're the butt of the joke, and they don't understand why. They do all the things they campaigned against on their road to power, only they do it more and they do it more blatantly. The hippies protesting for Free Speech in the 1960s are the biggest censors, nowadays.

We're programmed to "stick it out," because we fear the unknown. Best thing that can happen in those toxic situations is to be fired or forced out, if you don't have the will to do it, yourself.
