  3. You know why we talk about the federal government all the time? Because it's stuck a finger into every aspect of our lives. Want to stop worrying about politics all the time? Shrink the scope and role of the federal government. Social media doesn't cause mental illness. It exposes mental illness.

  4. I like the old-fashioned kind of virtue signaling, back when rich people built new hospital wings, or made huge contributions to the poor box at church. Or when joe blow signaled his virtue by rescuing a child from a burning building. Nowadays, virtue signaling is not when YOU do something special or nice. It's when you attack somebody else or worse, promise X's money to Y, without putting in one red cent of your own.
