  3. It's too late for legacy media to go back to the old pretense of objectivity. They can't maintain their fictions any longer, because they'll be fact-checked to oblivion by independents. There's no going back to the illusions that they preserved so faithfully until Obama: Spin the news, cherry-pick the stories, and pretend like they're giving both sides and keep the public believing them. Obama, for temporary political gain, blew it up. During and immediately after Obama were very heady days for journalist/activists. They could become advocates and the American public believed they were shooting straight. But they lost that unbelievably strong faith the public once had, that let them gin up fake stories and have them be believed. Imagine all the mass-formation psychosis they successfully promoted in the last 16 years. Imagine the power they must have felt. Imagine how it must have gone to their heads. It was fine when it was white and gray propaganda, but they engaged in black propaganda for enormous advantage for around 16 years, and it's finally caught up to them.

  4. He's still a big-government progressive, which means he's still stuck on the wheel of power, kidding himself that big government can somehow be reformed. All we need is a million genius-saints to keep the corruption from taking over, according to progressives.
