  1. Not interested in splitting hairs. I see idiots acting unruly and threatening people in both cases, and, there being no police presence, got dealt with by regular citizens on the train. When you start $hit, you don't get to choose how it gets finished. One person's idle threat is another person's fear for life or the life of others. With a knife out the chest of the dead man, there's gonna be an arrest. But in the case of Jordan Neely, you had a whole train car defending itself against a crazy man, and everyone was kind of surprised when Neely expired from being restrained.
