You ignore these very common examples of how the PROMISE never matches the PERFORMANCE. Promise free health care to everyone. Remove free-market MORALITY, which is purely transactional - Why does the shop owner treat people right? Because he dies if he gets no return customers. You try to sound smarter than everybody else, but your economics suck.

Same deal with doctors, only worse, dating back to the 1970s. Free medical for everyone! Then they run out of money, and stop paying doctors. In the '70s, you couldn't find a male doctor. Nurses would kind of become pseudo-doctors, because what the Soviets PAID doctors wasn't worth giving up 8 years of your life for the training. When asked, doctors in Soviet Russia stated they would prefer to be farmers, because the state took good care of farmers (at the expense of, for instance, doctors and engineers), because of their ideology which basically put the government in the position of just deciding who does what and what they'll be paid. Even in homogeneous societies (which ours isn't), socialized medicine runs up against limited resources, and government is a TERRIBLE manager. You're guaranteed your health care, but they decide if you're worth curing, and even if you are worth curing, you're going to have to wait in line.

Actually, his policies DO benefit some people. And he can POINT to those people, while ignoring the 3 people he hurts and societal damage done for every person he helps. You have to look at the WHOLE to understand how damaging his policies are. He is incapable of that, as are his supporters.

Of course Bernie is a socialist. He failed at EVERYthing, until he figured out how to promise my money to somebody else. He gets all the somebody else's to vote for him. It's a simple formula that even an idiot like Bernie can follow.

He visited Russia and was given a tour of a couple Potemkin Villages by apparatchiki. Then they showed him a subway station. Thing is, the commies/socialists can clean up any ONE corner of their domains, to make themselves look good. It's no different than the drastic cleanup of the area surrounding the Dem debates in Los Angeles. They CAN clean up a corner of it, to save themselves embarrassment, but everybody knows that 2 blocks away, it was all shit-hole.
