@Marcara081 Actually, we've made great strides in evolutionary psychology in recent years. Unfortunately, most of the research is hostile to SJW narratives and progressive ideology. But there IS some good science, and a solid body of literature that's been built. That's why Jordan Peterson is an important voice, right now. Same for Thomas Sowell, Jonathan Haidt, Peter Bogossian, Gad Saad, and a bunch of other SCIENTISTS who made themselves celebrities by the mere act of behaving like ethical scientists.

I think I'd die a little, inside, if my son came to me at 13 and said that. Speaking as a responsible adult, I think I'd warn him about promiscuity and STDs. I'd recommend he wait to act on his feelings for boys OR girls, until he was old enough to accept the consequences. I don't know how far into the weeds I'd go. Basically "Don't do it, but if you DO, be faithful to your partner and PICK a faithful partner. Someone as inexperienced as you, i.e., another virgin. The more worldly and experienced they are, the more likely they're carrying an STD. I want you to be safe."

@dimo4499 I'm not sure what I'd've done in your situation. Probably the same if I knew your child as well as you do. But I can see where it's appropriate to refuse to participate in their fantasies.
