  1. At least Akon got a chance to condemn hatred and antisemitism before being thrown under the bus without even knowing what Kanye said. The last interviewer didn't even give Akon any context to what Kanye had actually said and just let Akon speak on an issue he didn't have enough info to speak on. That's kind of like not letting the defendant see the discovery to the case before getting grilled by the prosecutor without a proper defense.
