  1. I was going to sit this election out until Trump picked JD Vance as his VP. The Trump/JD ticket is not only weird but their connection to the heritage foundation which wants to turn the USA into a theocracy made me feel like I had a duty to the constitution to vote against the interest of the heritage foundation.

A lot of coworkers of mine the last few years have been very giddy about Trump replacing the checks and balances with Trump loyalists, mass deportation, and national abortion bans. My coworkers were pretty upset about Trump denying project 2025 at first but now they are playing like mums the word and acting like they don't know anything about it after spending a year being giddy over the policies in the project. They are the kinda people that seem to have nightly wet dreams about a civil war. Because I have a thick beard and work hard they think I'm a Trumper so they open up to me about a bunch of stuff they'd feel anyone else would tell HR about. I just smile and shake my head because I wanna know what people like that are thinking about. I just casted my vote today. 💙

  15.  @intuitionz1198  I'd already built up immunity to Trump and seeing how incompetent his term was made him look like he wouldn't do anything he'd promise anyway. Now that they have a team of people who seem like they have a plan is what really got me motivated. Trump himself is just a rambling fool. Biden saying that he'd be a one term president but trying to run for president a second term was disappointing also. Him dropping out right after Trump's VP pick got me interested again. There are quite a few people who thought the same way within my community that are now on board to vote against the heritage foundation. I don't see the reason to hate on a voter for voting for the same cause but being a Karen is your right as an American. 🫂

A lot of Trumpers I know always talk about hanging criminals and say cops should be allowed to beat criminals but when they get a DUI or caught with drugs while carry guns they act like victims. I have an associate I've known for over a decade that's been on a "hang all criminals" rant the last couple years who just got a DUI on his way home from fishing. Now he's saying he's going to sue the police dept because of how unfairly he was handled. The hypocrisy with some of these people is surreal.

  25. If Trump wins and if he implements project 2025 as a whole there'll be a resistance. Not just from dems or the left. Both right leaning and left leaning libertarians want as little government interference as possible. They would not put up with the state poking around in their love life or government policing the travel of pregnant women. The American people won't go down that easy.

  27. The Trumpers at work used to gather every morning and be super giddy about turning the country into a theocracy for several months before project 2025 was in the news. They'd stand around drinking their coffee discussing the policies in Project 2025 they liked alongside whatever conspiracies they found on truth social the night before. Now they are butt hurt that Trump is denying project 2025 and say he's being too weak for not standing by it. They're not has joyful in the mornings anymore. Its hard not to overhear their discussions when working in the same area. I just wish they would pick up a broom after they clocked in while they talked about their cult.
