If he was genuinely trying to change and get rid of his attraction I'd accept your argument, but what he did was a completely voluntary action.   22.  @nexonus9513  Because it's not uncommon for victims to get shunned for 'lying' about their abuse whether they want sympathy points, attention, or they're just plain jealous, especially if the abuser is a famous person. Abusers very much often walk away free right after raping someone. Trauma ruins people's confidence, mental stability, everything. You probably could've worded that a lot better.

Speaking up about trauma is very scary for a lot of people and if the abuser is someone that is well liked that is amplified by quite a bit since a lot of people will put you down for it assuming you're just jealous of their fame or trying to create drama. We all wish it took absolutely no effort to speak up and say someone is a horrible person but unfortunately liars gotta ruin it for everyone and make us all suspicious of everyone and everything.
