  5. Because Huawei is not a security threat, it's an economic threat. The US wants to dominate the high-tech market, so that Chinese companies won't compete with US ones. High-tech products are one of the last products US companies have a monopoly on globally. The US government wants to shutdown competition globally. It's taxes and geopolitics.
