  1. The G7 countries are way out of touch to expect this project to successfully counter China. Solar panels? Gender equity? Really? The low and middle income countries want to have the ability to provide goods and services to their population efficiently and quickly. Starving Africans don't want people to lecture them about gender equity or build solar panels. Those solar panels are also already produced in China anyways if you want affordable panels. This whole thing sounds like a stunt and no more. Probably would still come with the tons of clauses interfering with the country's laws and economic activities. Stuff like "cut back on social welfare" and "tax your population more" or "have half your employees be women." These countries want to provide for their people now, and not have to do what the G7 tells them to.
