  3. My grandma has a chest freezer. Outside. With no shielding beside some cover on top and 3 walls. It's been running for decades.

  4. This is something that really struck me after living in the US. Your instant coffee is so bitter it's not worth getting. I had to get on Amazon to get the good ol' Nescafe I am used to. It makes good lattes. Just mix it with hot milk.

  5. Did you ever look into those DC car fridges? They look interesting and are chest fridges, so open from the top. They seem efficient.
