Imagine pumping 35 billion tons of co2 into the atmosphere each year and thinking ‘this has no impact’😂
9
@user-hm5zb1qn6g the classic argument made by people like you always goes: ‘no im not going to help make the world a better place if it means living a little less wasteful and extravagant. Don’t touch my living standard!’ Only thinking about yourself
7
@user-hm5zb1qn6g I have a car, but I’m not lazy😂
7
Ah the classic egotistical argument
6
Nothing more communist than parking requirements 😂
6
Why would I take a car to work when it’s only 4km 😂
6
You enjoy your freedom of a lot of bloody rules 😂
5
I would love to know how you make that comparison
4
Feel personally attacked?😂
4
Culture 😂
4
So support a candidate with no chances?
3
You funny 😂
3
But they do love less traffic
2
Verifiable? Non of the recounts helped trump😂
2
@billyhawkins721 ah, a classic non answer
2
Calling someone stupid while failing to spell the word is something special😂
2
Love the fact that you think driving and parking everywhere can be done for free😂
2
@TakeMetotheRiver. Well, for a country that considers itself the land of the free, you have a lot of costly car rules. Having a minimum parking requirement for stores and restaurants is another form of tax that nobody can avoid. Creating parking is not free, so your meal is just more expensive
2
@TakeMetotheRiver. So instead of sticking to the argument that you don’t need cars for everything you can attack my country instead? That seems the opposite of useful. And the argument isn’t even ‘which country is better’, it’s about how cars overtook all of American infrastructure, to a level that no other form of transportation is even a good alternative for anyone. Resulting in 26 lane highway traffic jams. The point is not to get everyone out of their car, but to create a healthy mix of public transport and personal vehicles.
2
@sQuibleable he is very proud of being lazy
2
And then, everyone starts using cars, streets get congested. Let me guess, you’ll start complaining about needing ‘one more lane’
2
@kevinstfort there’s about a 50% chance trump wins against Harris, casting your vote/support to anyone else this close to the election is practically a win for trump
1
Are they though ?😂
1
The land of the free with the most rules 😂
1
@TakeMetotheRiver. the store is 40 miles?
1
@TakeMetotheRiver. I have a wild take for you, brace yourself: What if… it going to be amazing: Not everyone had to take a car for every trip every time! But since you guys love to build infrastructure only for cars, guess what happens?? Everyone uses a car for every trip. And wow, I do understand that not everyone can avoid using cars 100% of the time. But it is absolutely laughable to argue that everyone need to use cars 100% of the time
1
@TakeMetotheRiver. the median distance to the nearest food store for the overall U.S. population was 0.9 miles, with 40 percent of the U.S. population living more than 1 mile from a food store. The median distance to the third-nearest food store for the overall population was 1.7 miles. To go to the store should be easy for most
1
@ And we’re back to the classic ‘well! Not everyone!’ Nice for you to miss to point
1
A gas leak is $, being honest and reporting a gas leak is $$$, they’re not going to😂
1
Trump trying to end democracy is kind of a big deal
1
@billyhawkins721 I would be really fascinated to hear how this has any effect on trump trying to undermine democracy?
1
Being stuck in traffic is not free either
1
@SephShareBear but if those trucks spend an hour (or 2) less in traffic for a small fee, the price of the toll easily cancels the traffic delay costs
1
@ My point is that the time profit results in lower costs
1
So what is your point?
1
What are you talking about?
1
Love how all issues can be ignored if we just yell that vaccines are the issue
1
@ I can’t wait for the ‘we can’t lower our oil consumption, you’d not even have a toothbrush!’ Argument
1
No, to increase the flow of traffic by lowering the number of cars
1
@ZarlanTheGreen I know, but people like being dramatic about it
