  5.  @sandipkrmunda  exactly. So thankfully, to Hindu India at least, that the British colonised... Which was inevitable, regardless - Britain was the most powerful nation at the time, and and India (some might argue China) was the richest nation. It was bound to be colonised.

  6. This channel is insane. I literally have to put off watching these videos for a few days until I have 100% focus/free time, or else I miss all the juicy details. There's no watching 'WhatIfAltHist' while cooking dinner, for example, as there is with other YouTubers... Because ever second is jam-packed with fascinating info. Tried to get my mates into this channel, but they're too stupid to appreciate the genius of Rudyard.

  7. I would make a valuable guess that at the very least, women might be able to move up the caste system ie. A beautiful woman could marry a higher-caste male. But it probably wasn't the other way around.

  12.  @Seaweedsz  Sophia McDougal wrote "Romanitas", an alternate history novel where Rome survives to this day... Just thought you might like to get some inspiration from it. I'm a very critical reader (there are only several novels I'd ever recommend eg. LOTR, Metro 2033, The Passage), but "Romanitas" is one I'd strongly suggest. Hope it helps you write your story!
