NATO called the Baltic Sea Allies Summit on 14.01 and announced Baltic Sentry -enhanced security patrols of additional vessels, aircraft, and a large fleet of unmanned naval drones. To monitor and implement inspections and seizures under maritime law of grey fleet unlicensed vessels, hazardous conditions due to lack of maintenance, suspicion of sabotage or espionage etc. The Baltics and Nordics agree that Finland has set the precedent and all allies will enforce a strict patrol, with Germany and Poland to also implement. Estonia PM and Finland president announced Baltic Sentry at press conference after NATO Baltic Sea Allies Summit. The delivery was serious and confident, a good message of deterrence and defence from NATO. Our PM added that the sabotage has spiked as the Baltics leave the Soviet power grid early February, and nothing will stop the switch to Nordic power supply, there are back up plans and back ups of the back ups.   4. To add: Baltic Sentry will mainly be equipped and staffed by Joint Expeditionary Forces - UK, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands - with hopefully Poland joining JEF soon. It's a tough coalition with serious kit.
