The essence and source of Asian characteristics including slim bodies is a function of their baseline survival activity which is wet rice farming Wet rice farming is a finely-tuned activity which does not lend itself to feast or famine. Let's just say there's no feast or famine in the survival routine in the Asian gene pool because they have their food production fine-tuned down to the rice crop . I know there are exceptions, droughts and floods etc but for Millennia food production has gone with the monsoin cycle so there's no advantage to the feast or famine genes which have extra fat cells and the instinctive urge to put it on when you have the opportunity to do so. That's why Asian people are thin and why Western people aren't thin.

  29. It's the Rice Paddies: rice is not a "feast or famine" production system. Do your work, and you'll have a steady supply of food. In that situation, "stocking up" and gaining weight in case of leaner times is counter productive - can't afford to be carrying all that weight around, hence bodies with little fat-storage capacity.

"Nations" are glorified tribes and their territories. Between nations there is no "right or wrong", only power. There's no diversity in the Chinatowns - in the west, the only people condemned and punished for tribalism are whites. What would happen if a neighborhood called itself Caucasiantown?
