  13.  @Heerwrites390  I have looked in to Islam, Quran and Hadith, watching debates etc (it's hard to say how much) I'm not convinced of any mirakel claim about cosmology or medicin, there is no deeper insights there than can be expected in any text from late anticvity. As for the claim that its a "lame excuse" to see some followers [behavior?] Islam's infuens on cocietys from Marocko to Indonesia is demontrobly bad! Don't take my ore anyones word: Look up the stastistics for Infant Mortality, Corruption, Life Expectancy etc. Islam is bad for muslims!

In debates and such, muslim apologists often answer with a line like: "The root word for 'circle' can also mean 'sphere' so the Quran dosent say that the earth is flat!" Yes, I have looked in to Islam, Quran and the Hadith and Im unconvinced. It seems like you almost have to be braught up from an early age and be thereten with beeing treated as an apostate as a kid, to become a muslim.

I have hade conversation like this more times than I can count, both irl and online, I have seen conversations, debates, lecture and entire collage corses on youtube. And I remain unconvinced, either because my 'heart is hardend' ore ther is no deaper truth to be found. Even if you don't mention hell, the threat is always there, towards you and me both. When a believer (Jews, Christians, Muslims) is faced with uncomfortable verses about genocide, sexual slavery, death penalty for apostasy, a cosmology consisting of a flat earth under a 7-layered sky dome where the sun, moon, and stars are fastened and demons rule, trying to spy on God. Everything these religious texts say is either laughably wrong, completely pedestrian or creatively updated, taken out of context, and translated in a way that the text complies with the world as we now understand it. And always there is a threat. Hear is a suggestion for you: Look up the argument that critics of religions make, in ther own words, not restated by apologets. Look up som debates, look at there sorses, listen to there arguments.
