  1. Dr Telepun, I found the PPISC on your app. But I wasn't able to use it this time because I didn't have the proper camera and lens on hand. Plus it was my first eclipse and I was afraid of getting bogged down working with the camera and missing the eclipse experience. I did set up my video camera on a tripod and used the drift method to record the main part of the eclipse. I've got a long way to go to get ready for the 2024 eclipse. My question is: Did you use some type of clock drive with your still camera and video camera mounted on your German Equatorial Mount - so that you could easily track the motion of the sun? Also, did you take your photos manually (changing the shutter speed and aperture for each shot)? Also wondering if you had others helping you, or did you do it all by yourself? Thanks for all your efforts to help educate folks.
