@gloomiehoodie So in other words, you support slavery. If you're not afraid to admit it, just come right out and say it. As for myself, I think it's a waste to have people locked away for years doing absolutely nothing -- and, importantly for their mental health, with nothing to do. My stance is that they should be paid at half-rate -- that is, half of minimum wage. But the prisons should never be privatized in order to avoid perverse incentives in the justice system, such as continuously expanding the number of inmates.
