If loyalty isn't valuable, why should you pay a worker $10,000 more per year than someone who has been there half as long, but is just as (or perhaps even more) productive? Also, please explain to me why nepotism is so rampant if your individuality and dedication ultimately doesn't matter. On their own, I contend that these undeniable and commonplace instances of favoritism disprove your argument, unless you can provide a plausible alternative explanation for their prevalence.
