  1. What's crazy is that abortion is legal in New Mexico -- maybe not up until the moment of birth (barring certain exceptions, such as risk to the mother's life), but still. This is the predictable outcome of extreme anti-choice policies in red states, and I would bet good money that there will be another news story similar to this one in the next few months, probably from Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky or Florida.
