Regardless of whether you think this was just or not, take notice of the stark contrast between Ridge's case and that of Brittney Griner: Ridge was involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in two innocent deaths and was sentenced to three years, and Brittney was convicted of smuggling trace amounts of a harmless substance and was sentenced to ten. See the difference here? If so, it should be quite clear why one is our ally and the other -- to put it mildly -- is not.
