  1. A classmate of mine owns a Tesla and told me that when Autopilot is enabled, it will beep incessantly if it doesn't detect any interaction with the steering wheel. And if that doesn't work, it will gradually slow down to a stop, even in the middle of the highway. Personally, I'm very optimistic about the possibility of autonomous vehicles, but it's quite clear that the technology isn't there yet. And what's the point if you're supposed to keep your hands on the steering wheel at all times anyway? 🤷‍♂️
