You're not allowed to coerce others by making them THINK that their life is in danger, when it really isn't. Is it an offense punishable by death? Certainly not, but when your actions put others in that situation, you can reasonably expect them to react out of self-defense. It's a tragedy to be sure, yet one cannot fault the customer's intentions. I am not pro-gun by any means (it's due to the proliferation of firearms that this incident was possible in the first place; there's a reason this happens nowhere else in the developed world), but I would like to believe that this is simply common sense. A jury cannot in good faith convict this man of any charge related to this shooting. Period.
