Aaaaaaannnnd this is why I'm sticking to either going on road trips by car (the U.S. is so gigantic that traffic is decent to phenomenal no matter where you go, outside of major cities, and there is no shortage of backroads/underused highways to choose from) or enjoying my summer at home. I haven't boarded a plane in over a decade -- not out of fear of flying, but fear of hassle at the airport.
