  1. ​ @777Skeptic  According to mountains of astrological evidence and data (e.g. Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation), the universe had a beginning at the Big Bang approximately 13.72 billion years ago. It did not "always exist," except perhaps as a single point on the size of the Planck scale -- and even then, you're only relying on a gap in scientific knowledge (specifically, the unification of quantum physics with general relativity). As a self-described "skeptic," I thought you would know all this. P.S. I'm an atheist, but I'm also not afraid to acknowledge the scientific facts, even when they ostensibly point in a direction unfavorable to my worldview.
