  1. She should've called in reinforcements. If that was not an option, then this was not her fault imo. He could've stolen her gun in a matter of seconds, then who knows what might've happened from there. I firmly believe that, on top of possessing non-lethal force such as pepper spray, tasers, and stun batons, police should be trained for hand-to-hand combat in a martial arts like Jiu-Jitzu. (This isn't my idea -- I heard this from experts like Rener Gracie and law enforcement professionals on the Joe Rogan and Sam Harris podcasts). Then they will no longer need to resort to deadly force to de-escalate a situation. Otherwise, three guys should have been on top of him the second he approached her, let alone swung at her face.
