  2. This is outrageous. I'm growing my hair out right now (after having a buzz cut all throughout childhood) and I want to see if I can get it to shoulder length and still have it look good. If the high school was to tell me boys must have short hair and I can't participate in graduation, then I'd just tell them to fuck off right on the spot. Fine, hand me my diploma. Graduating from your stupid school was way too damn easy as it is, I don't see why I have to participate in a 3-hour ceremony to celebrate it. Get me the hell out of here I don't need this antiquated societal customary shit. Men and women are both capable of growing long hair, so why not just let everyone have whatever hairstyle they choose? If women can grow long hair and get away with it, then why not a man? And the same goes for women: a woman with short hair isn't an atrocity nowadays. Why would you not apply the same logic to men? Cut out the double standards and just accept the fact that women and men, while differing in tastes, in matters of personal upkeep it doesn't make a difference what he or she decides to do. Only men able to grow a beard, so using the "you don't see women with beards" excuse does not apply here. Egalitarian: you conservative bastards who don't like long hair on men can KISS MY ASS.
