  1. Wrong. A sem-truck with an empty trailer weighs 35,000 pounds. By law, a truck's weight cannot exceed 80,000. That leaves 45,000 lbs maximum for cargo. It would take two semi-trucks, almost fully loaded, to transport this shipment. I guess that's what you might call a "truckload."
