  2. That's fine, but the cost of college has skyrocketed even after adjusting for inflation. They're up by an average of 140% compared with average costs from 1963. Meanwhile, the value of the minimum wage has actually decreased over the same period. Seriously, do you not understand basic economics?

  3. Tough. When we get a free college program implemented, you're buying into it just like every tax-paying citizen in literally every other developed country in the world. I don't want my tax money blowing up brown people overseas, but I'm not sitting in the corner crying about it. I suspect that's exactly what you would do if we had even the most remote sense of justice and fairness in this world. Moron.

  4. All land is stolen at this point. That's the story of human civilization. Nothing much we can do about it now, except learn from our mistakes and correct for the future (i.e. end U.S. imperialism in the Middle East).

  5. That's exactly what I'm doing. The thing that sucks the most about this plan, however, is that it doesn't work if you're going to an Ivy League or private university. I would have loved to work harder in school so I could be admitted to Stanford or UC Berkeley, but I knew there was no way either I or my parents could afford it. And you would literally have to sacrifice all your free time if you wanted to qualify for scholarships. For me, that crosses a line.
