Republicans are too religious and authoratative in their beliefs (forcing them on everyone else), and the Democrats are trending towards totalitarianism by transferring ownership of private property and other assets to the government and infringing on civil liberties (2nd Amendment). That's why I'm a Libertarian. Socialism never works, and people should have the freedom to live their lives as they choose without adhering to strict religious obligations.
