@tisjustangie You left the part out that this "KKK member," Robert Byrd, later realized the error of his ways and left. It's a story of triumph more than anything else. His mentor was a different individual, Strom Thurmond, who died a genuine racist and flipped to a Republican following the passage of the Civil Rights Act in 1965. Try learning some American history before spewing falsehoods all over the Internet. 🙄

@tisjustangie Really? You're going to go down that road? 🤦‍♂️ There are so many sources on Google, just pick a few of favorites and see what they have to say. To avoid confirmation bias, however, you should read a multitude of different sites and come to your own conclusions, or find the one you think is closest to the truth. Do I really have to educate you how the Internet works? Are you 5?

@tisjustangie 4 of those are legitimate news sources, and 3 of them aren't. 2 of them are full-scale propaganda, actually. I use to watch The Daily Wire for years. Ben Shapiro has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. And the anchors at Fox, I suspect, are just doing it for the money. MSNBC does the same thing. You know the right has gone over the cliff when they claim that the most institutionalized and mainstream news networks (ABC, NBC, ABC) are always "biased" in their reporting, not their opinion pieces. 🤦‍♂️
