  1. Well if this isn't politically motivated, I don't know what is. Could you imagine if the roles were reversed and it was a BLM protestor who shot a conservative Texan? I'm willing to bet the Governor wouldn't even consider a pardon under the exact same circumstances. He just wants to send the message that exercising your First Amendment right to peacefully protest and your Second Amendment right to walk the streets armed will potentially put your life in jeopardy by armed counter-protesters who know they will face no consequences for their actions. Despicable.
