  1. Well, I don't wanna sound like a music snob, and if you want to call Def Leppard "heavy metal" you can, but if you think they have a "heavy" sound you haven't heard real metal. Maybe try listening to Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, and then progress to Trivium and 5FDP. That should get you started if you like real metal.
