  2. This is actually pretty funny. I mean, they call themselves "sanctuary states" for a reason. Not every state along the U.S.-Mexico border is hostile to immigrants. California and New Mexico are blue. Maybe they can become the new entry points, and Abbot/Doucey et al. can construct their own barriers at their border. That would seem a fair compromise to me.
