@sage1336 What about the hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians we bombed in drone strikes while we were there? Or the fact that we literally allied ourselves with warlords who had child s-x slaves? How does leaving less than a couple hundred Americans --- most of whom were dual citizens, by the way --- who we warned several times since April to leave, in a Taliban-controlled Afghanistan look in comparison to that? Your outrage is misplaced.

You're disgusting. Imagine if I made the same joke about MTG walking into an elevator with an abortion doctor... Oh wait, nevermind, you would say she was justified.

@bravewave2084 Trump has it coming too you know. They're both knee-deep in this mess.

"Anti-Christian"? I bet half the Democratic base is made up of fairly devout Christians. 70% of this country is comprised of Christians. Quite frankly, for such absurd beliefs based on absolutely zero evidence that exert real political power, I don't think there is enough "anti-Christian" rhetoric to be found in modern American politics --- especially at the federal level. Belief without evidence --- that is, faith --- should not be rewarded nor respected at the highest levels of government in any civilized society, let alone the country with the most powerful military in the world.

Right-wingers will always support "religious liberty" --- so long as it's Christianity. Any other religion, and especially those who don't belong to any one in particular, well, some would treat you like a Palestinian in Israel if you're lucky, and others... would be about as kind as the man with the mustache was towards 6 million of his own people in the 1930-40's. This is why religion and politics are to be kept separate, as the Founders intended (First Amendment). Thomas Jefferson is rolling in his grave right now seeing what the Republican Party, and American politics as a whole, has become.
