  1. Kids aren't dying in huge numbers from COVID-19, most of them don't even know they're sick! Especially the younger ones.

  2.  @boobear6256  Which problems? Show me the evidence that says young children recovering from COVID have more complications than those recovering from the flu or even the common cold.

  3.  @boobear6256  And how many parents in America are experiencing that right now due to Covid?! My guess is not very many. In the elementary age group there have been at least 400,000 known infections, and about a dozen kids have actually died. By those odds, kids are more likely to die from getting into a car accident on the way to school than by the virus itself.

  4.  @boobear6256  Yeah, a DOZEN out of 400,000. The children suffering from a whole semester or more in social isolation will greatly outweigh the statistically irrelevant number who will die from COVID. That I can assure you.

  6. Reopen ALL elementary schools! Get teachers who afraid to teach from home, OR replace them with a substitute. Middle schools can re-open on a case-by-case basis, but the high schools and colleges should remain online throughout the fall semester. Older kids can learn better through a screen, the younger ones NEED social interaction to develop!
