@Gil7111TX Illegals, by definition, are unable to pay taxes. But if we granted them citizenship, like most of them want (often they find it a little difficult to get a job otherwise), then they'll pay just like anyone else. And if they don't, they'll be held accountable just like everyone else. Win-win solution. Unfortunately, some people would prefer to make their lives challenging by not granting amnesty, and their reasoning is devoid of all logic and common sense. Jeff Bezos, though, is absolutely guilty of tax evasion just like Donald Duck.

@gloriafinish5319 There's a good reason people don't believe in God. It's because he doesn't exist. But if you're looking for an example of a secular society, America isn't it. At least 75% of Americans have a religious belief of some kind, and 70% of Americans identify as Christian. How about Finland, often rated by World Happiness Reports as being the most prosperous society on the planet, where fully two-thirds of the population are atheists or agnostic? Didn't take that into your calculation, now did ya?
