@maryc8552 According to biochemists, that is a perfectly plausible explanation for the origin of life. Unlikely? Perhaps. But even if the odds are one in a trillion, if there are a million galaxies each with a million planets that may be hospitable to life, then statistically it is likely to happen at least once. On the other hand, claiming that this one scientific mystery validates thousands of pages worth of myths and tales of fantastical, supernatural, and miraculous events, and is solid evidence that not only is there a Creator of the universe, and not only has he/she/it communicated with humankind, but also that he/she/it had a "son" (whatever that means for a deity) who assumed a human form and was somehow resurrected from the dead is patently insane.
