Great. You can start with releasing all non-violent drug offenders and decriminalizing ALL drugs, including the hard ones like crack cocaine and heroine. If you don't, everything else you say is empty talk because this is the most important issue facing communities of color today. The second-most important, of course, is education, so get cracking on delivering much-needed financial aid to underfunded schools in the inner cities. A dramatic cultural shift is needed, but we will never get there if the people of these underserved communities and constantly finding themselves ensnared by our deeply unjust criminal justice system. The concept of "blind justice" has faded away since the Nixon administration, and it's about time we bring it back.
