  1.  @ripdiptatterchip3851  Honestly, you made the wrong choice. If you had to choose between working 3 jobs or making unemployment, you should go for the latter every time (assuming the compensation is about the same). 3 jobs is ridiculous. No American should have to work that hard just to get by. And most likely, whoever the executive is at those companies you're working for is making bank off all your hard work. Not exactly fair, is it? I say you reduce yourself to 1 job that pays a liveable wage ($15/hour might not be enough depending on where you live), and your lazy brother gets off his @ss and finds a job too. I'm 21, and I've been working through this whole thing as well, on top of college (but I "only" have one part-time job). I probably could've just taken unemployment indefinitely, but I applied when the pandemic first began and was compensated for the 5 weeks I was furloughed, and I didn't miss my opportunity to get my old job back. Feeling like I earned the money is much more satisfying, but that alone is no excuse for people not having enough to put a roof over their heads while one man is rich enough to singlehandedly launch himself into space.

  2. If by "socialism" you mean Norway or Denmark, then anyone with more than half-a-brain should be able to get on board with that. I suspect that your assessment of the situation may be incorrect.

  3. I'm more worried about the 100 million unvaccinated Americans (most of whom are evangelical nutcases, obviously) than a few thousand refugees seeking asylum. If they are dispersed widely, herd immunity will take over no problem. Texas, Florida, Alabama, Idaho, Mississippi, and other "red" states are a different story. Your concern is misplaced.

Maybe that's because the unemployment benefits have run out, and nobody in Congress has the courage to do anything about it? 🤔 Oh, and billionaires have gotten $5 TRILLION richer since this crisis began. The rich are running out the back door with all the money, and about half the country is too stupid to realize it's happening or too callous and won't do anything about it.

These people happened to be born in a country where corruption is rampant and poverty is widepread, and on top of that Haiti recently experienced some of the worst political and natural crises in its history. Nothing that they did "earned" them this treatment. Show some respect, would you? And you wonder why we accuse Republicans of lacking basic human decency. 🙄
