@reuben.jimenez Uh, no we don't. We suffered through a minimum of 1,500 years of that, 1,000 of which experienced almost no technological progress. You want to live in medieval Europe? Build yourself a time machine and be my guest... But remember that it's only because of the Scientific Revolution and the defiance of dogma and superstition (i.e. Church authority) that human life expectancy has doubled in the last 150 years. And every step of the way, theocrats and religious bigots have been there to oppose it. If we want improvement, the future is secular. Period.

96VS Lol imagine if a human created a world with such pain, suffering, pointless misery and death and didn't tell them for at least 2,000 years that there is a way out (and even then it was just a select group of people), all to please himself. He would be far worse than Hitler. Yet that is exactly the kind of god billions of people around the world not just believe in, but WORSHIP. It blows my mind!!!
