Nowhere in that lengthy, long-winded quote did he mention that corporations are choosing to export all their product (oil) rather than sell it domestically, because they can reap a higher profit -- opting instead to vaguely refer to them as "those in power," giving one the impression that politicians are the ones making these decisions. Yep, let's forget about the fact that the entire industry is privatized and "those in power" -- the House, the Senate, and even the President -- can do very little to regulate the industry, let alone dictate where oil is sold. What a pathetic attempt at deflecting from corporate price gouging and supply chain incompetency. Absolutely shameful.
