@MrRage666 "Nationwide mask mandate." It's in the title. Even if you live in rural South Dakota, Texas, or Wyoming and you're outside on your ranch or farm all by yourself, Ol' Joe is gonna make you wear a mask anyway. It doesn't matter if you haven't talked to another living soul in months, you'll be fined or arrested if you don't wear a mask. That's where we're headed.

@Lazys The Dank Engineer Yeah, I did. And I said it's bogus science. The WHO said that the vast majority of spread is caused by people WITH symptoms, not without. Masks are only needed indoors, period. You only need to wear a mask outdoors if you're in a thick crowd or if you KNOW you're infected. We should re-open. I don't want to punish anyone, because I believe in freedom of choice, but if you work at the factory and you don't want to return to work, you'll have to quit. That's just how life is. A series of decisions.

Chaz Birdie The economy is going to tank now, I guarantee it. Democrats have a horrible track record of recovering from recessions. Look at FDR and Obama. Both dragged out the length of the downturn through bad policy and government expansionism. And Republicans are largely to blame for them because of lack of oversight. Both parties suck, because one party doesn't know how to prevent them and the other doesn't know how to fix them.

These things won't pay for themselves. The middle class can expect to carry the heaviest burden, because the rich are able to take advantage of massive deductions, depreciation, and loopholes.

@juani0210 You can't tell me that a $100 trillion government plan to redesign our infrastructure is NOT socialist. It sounds exactly like something Stalin would have tried doing. It greatly expands the power of the government and that's what makes it socialist.
