  1. The dude didn't just point the taser, he FIRED it. When will ABC report this correctly? Still though, if someone points a gun at you you have every right to fire at them. And for those in good health, a taser isn't deadly BUT Mr. Brooks could have conceivably taken the officer's gun while he was incapacitated and then we would have a real problem on our hands. Or a dangerous criminal out on the streets. Which would you prefer?
