  1. I first learned about this show on the news, believe it or not, and decided to watch it since I already have Netflix (I don't make much use out of my own subscription). That first episode was so much darker than I expected, and although I found the courage to keep going, that was the one thing that stuck with me the most. Nothing in the other 8 episodes topped that in emotional impact, as least for me. I wouldn't call the show a "masterpiece," but I can see why it's popular and I like that some foreign-produced media are really starting to break through to the mainstream in the USA, and especially upsetting the monopoly that is Hollywood.
