I will always support workers who are performing their job at an expected level who were fired for a reason other than breaking the law or violating company policy. However, I do not agree with how the US Supreme Court arrived at their decision, as there was NO language in Title VII that implied someone cannot be discriminated against on the basis of "gender identity" (SEPARATE from sex) or "sexual orientation." So while I absolutely agree that this needed to be done, I do not feel that, legally speaking, it was accomplished the right way. Brett Kavanaugh was right on point when he said the Supreme Court interprets the law, not makes it.

@CollectorNova It still looks to me that the Supreme Court is making the law rather than interpreting it. I find the case for homosexuality and gender identity a stretch at best.

@MikeRosoftJH By sex, not by gender. Gender is an utterly meaningless concept. And no I don't think this was the right approach. Gender identity is still not explicitly protected under the original 1964 law, so the decision is STILL wrong. This should have been done via the Equality Act, not through the Supreme Court.
