This never should have happened. We shouldn't have gone to Afghanistan in the first place, or at least have left a decade ago when the mission was fulfilled after Osama Bin-Laden was blown away. There was nothing to be gained from continuing the war, unless you happened to be the CEO of the defense contractors (Raytheon, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, etc.) or earned money on the side from protecting the poppy fields. It's a disgrace that we had to wait until 2021 to finally get out of country we don't belong, and that a dozen young Americans and 2,500+ more just like them had to pay the ultimate price for it. And that's not even mentioning the 200,000 innocent civilians who were taken out by bombing missions with a 90% collateral damage rate. This country is genocidal. Shame on the U.S. of A. For shame. The Framers of the Constitution would be devastated if they knew what their creation would become.
