@RCmack Damn what do you expect him to do? Walk to his front lawn and raise his hands in the air while chanting at the sky, and the virus magically disappears? No, he cracked down on travel as soon as it was feasible to do so, and gave ventilators to all the states that needed them. Now there are excess all over the place. Then he distributed the federal stockpile of PPE (which wasn't very big), so now that isn't much of an issue either... Now it's all about testing. We're doing well over 300,000 tests per day, which is short of where we need to be to re-open fully (by about a million), but there's no doubt we'll get there before long. Oh and does anyone remember the Javits Center and the USNS Comfort in New York? Yeah those weren't needed for too long, now were they? The governors know how to best run their states (at least I hope), so enacting some kind of national lockdown isn't as effective as it would be in a smaller and more uniform country like South Korea. New York and Montana are experiencing this crisis very differently, so they are obviously going to react to it differently. Tell me how #45 has failed the American people again?

@RCmack Yeah in all honesty I have no idea why that happened. My guess is by the time it was received on the US end it was too late for it to turn around (fuel restrictions). Still those passengers should have gone through a mandatory 14-day quarantine after arrival.

I'm sooo glad that this woman didn't have a shot at the Presidency. She's just as bad as Clinton but her voice is 3 times as irritating.

@RCmack Did I not say some were bound to slip through the cracks? There are over 1.3 billion people in China, do you really think declaring a travel ban is going to instantly stop every single one of them from coming over here? C'mon man, I get that the President isn't perfect but please have some realistic expectations.

@RCmack I don't know about inside the plane, but maybe at a nearby unused hotel or dormitory of some kind.

@clodiamandes7153 He never implied drinking fish tank cleaner. That was a chief example of social Darwinism at work. (Darwin Awards anyone?) No, he was advocating using HCQ in a CLINICAL setting with CRITICALLY ill patients. This was someone who was perfectly healthy and consuming a product happening to contain it as an ingredient as a precaution. That's nowhere close to the action the President was touting HCQ should be used for.

@clodiamandes7153 Protecting the economy is not "dismissing" science. The economy goes bad, social unrest increases and people die from overdoses and suicides. That's scientific fact. The question is how to balance those drawbacks of the lockdown while also protecting public safety. And fundamental Constitutional rights can't be defiled as mere "emotions."
