@brettascott124 You mean the Drug War guy? The guy who was largely responsible for ballooning our prison population from just a couple hundred thousand to over two million? The guy who supported state-sponsored execution? The guy who militarized the police? That's your "small government" politician? Isn't it clear to you that he just wanted people to remain miserable? He was either ignorant or aware of the fact that the most prosperous and happiest societies on Earth are socially democratic (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and the Netherlands) and promoted his destructive ideology of unfettered capitalism (except for wealthy corporations receiving subsidies and bailouts) nonetheless, because he knew that was a surefire way to maximize human misery. Who needs healthcare when you can slave at your shitty job full-time and barely earn enough to survive, amirite?
